I just saw this on progressive ears:

I caught the gig last night in London, stupendous as ever. The sad part though is that they were handing out flyers stating that after 15 years of recreating these classic shows, next year will be their last. They are touring SEBTP in Europe and then that's all folks

All good things come to an end, and I doubt anybody can pick up the baton and produce something so perfect. I'm just so happy that they brought this show over to our shores, and that I have had the chance to relive a little of my youth again. Thanks guys!

I hope they will throw a few Foxtrot shows in next time, as I've never yet seen that, just 2 x SEBPT and 2 x The Lamb.

Only saw them one time, the only time they played LA. it was the Lamb tour.

For me who has never witnessed a Gabriel Genesis gig, Genesis tribute band The Musical Box (I have seen them four times) was a mindblowing substitute and experience, especially the entire The lamb show but also tracks like The Knife, Supper's Ready and the final section from The Musical Box, everybody in the crowd was totally mesmerized by 'Peter Gabriel' and his dramatic performance with the old man mask, unforgettable, progrock history!

What a pity they will stop but 15 years is long ..

I saw them 2 times and it was really a life-changing experience.

On the official website of the Musical Box, they don't talk about this at all though. Is this a sure thing?

Anyway, I already got my ticket for the SEBTP tour next december in Montreal . I hope it won't be the last Musical Box show I'll see. If it is, then I say bravo to The Musical Box!

They are supposed to have a DVD coming up. At least, that's what they say on the website.

They made a DVD but the band was not pleased with the result, nonetheless there are circulating bootleg copies!

Saw them in Syracuse NY a couple months ago, and what a disappointment. Plagued by sound problems for the entire show - they actually had to shut it down for about 30 minutes to attend to these technical difficulties.

Too bad - what started out as promising evening went downhill really fast...

The same happened in Germany during the SEBTP tour by The Musical Box, also at about 30 minutes delay because of technical problems. But how ironical, this happened to early Genesis many times too!

Fortunately the progheads were very understanding and gave The Musical Box a warm applause when they continued their concert , this is the way it should be!

I can't wait to see The Musical Box on their final tour. I only saw them twice on their Lamb tour, but wasn't able to make it to any of their SEBTP tours.

The last show i saw was the last show of their last Lamb tour and before they went on the announcer said that The Musical Box had just announced that they would be returning next year for their final tour doing SEBTP.

I CAN'T WAIT!

I saw The Musical Box do SEBTP in Zürich 2 years ago, and enjoyed and
was very impressed by the historical re-creation. The Gabriel double was
amazing enough, but when the slightly balding left-handed drummer came
forward and sang "More Fool Me" exactly like Collins?...it won't get any
closer than that!

I really liked to see The Lamb tour by the Musical Box. I felt sorry that I didn't see them on an earlier tour. I was too much of a purist thn, but The Lamb tour certainly proved me wrong. What a show, what a musicianship and how great it was to see al the original slides, and the costumes!!!
