They are overrated...it's a good band but it's always the same neo-prog mix! The mars volta, tool, porcupine tree, those bands represents the future of music. Riverside, Flower kings, Prndragon, Mind's eye...etc... are good too but a little bit out-of-date! This is progressive...don't let the progression ends! ------------- For every truth even the contrary is true...

I disagree. I definitely think that Riverside belongs to the first group (besides it has a lot more similarities with Tool and PT than those others). |

I just don't see them as a 5 star band- you talk about fanboys- Second Life Syndrome IMO is not a 5 star album. 4, maybe. ------------- |

Just for fun's sake has any of you tried to compare both 2005 releases by Riverside?? Then you will notice what variety of styles they use. Voices in my head is a bloody semi acoustic triphop album for Christ's sake! ------------- Interested in my reviews? i was amazed to find out that second life is only their second album, i see a lot of potential for these fine musicians
