the bit at the end of the Lifeson interview makes me laugh, when he is talking about meeting Jimmy Page
He talks about Page in a similar way alot of people on here talk about Lifeson.

I bought the Guitar Player mag last weekend. It's a great interview..

I'll look out for the others too. It's good that Rush are still so high profile.

...and thanks to Mr Blacksword/Tony R I have been on one of the biggest Rush binges in years, revisiting albums (almost everything from Fly By Night through to Vapour Trails), buying DVD's (Rush In Rio, R30 and both Neil Peart tuitional films) and books (Travelling Music & Chemisty).

I've been having a ball, although I'm not sure my wife agrees with my obsession. Then again, she's a Cure fan and they're not know for their highly developed sense of progressiveness (or indeed humour...)

Wow, yeah that part is great. And yep, I know I would most likely lose consciousness if I ever got the opportunity to jam with either Page OR Lifeson.

alex and geddy are just the coolest guys in rock.
anyone that is so unspoilt by this business after
30odd years deserves the utmost respect. i'd love to
include neil in this but he keeps such a low profile
that he remains enigmatic to most people. i'm sure
he just as down to earth as lifeson and lee. more
power to them!

progressive rock and rural tranquility don't match. true or false?

From the Bass Player article:
"This spring, three little letters will make Rush fans very happy: DVD. On the heels of the band’s R30: 30th Anniversary World Tour DVD/CD release, the three classic concert videos All the World’s a Stage, Exit … Stage Left, and A Show of Hands will finally be released in digital format."

Is this true? Is there a video of All The World's A Stage out there? If so, why haven't I ever seen it?!?

Please let it be so...

If only...I reckon it is a mistake. Test For Echo Tour is being considered for release.

I dont believe there was footage of the "All The World's A Stage" concerts in Toronto, more's the pity!

Meanwhile console yourself with YYZ + Drum Solo from Hold Your Fire Tour:

And they are also considering re-releasing R30 in its entirety, mind you.
