Having recently got Trespass, I was amazed at Johns more noticeable style of drumming and though I am impressed with Collins I cant tell witch is better. So who is your favorite?

100% Collins for me. I think the drums on the Genesis Live version of the Knife are so much better than on the original version. Plus, Collins has made so many great things with Genesis or Brand X.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

I despise much of Collins work, but as the drummer for Genesis he was amazing.

Mayhew did a solid job on Trespass, however, Collins work on later Genesis albums was outstanding.

Being a Drummer myself I am going to have to say Collins, however both are overrated (neither are bad dont misread me please) however they still adhere to a very standard style I think currently Jon Theodore is the best prog drummer out there because he mixes metal and Latin but this is just my $.02

What would be the point in a general pol, weve had 2-3 of them in the last 2 weeks.
