No, is a german band with only one album Dirt Box (1971) like Lucifer's Friend (also from Germany) great band!

Some of you probably know this band but I've only heard of them. Raw Material. Supposedly, their album 'Time Is' had a VdGG flavor and one song, "Ice Queen", got sl*gged in Melody Maker for plagurizing a VdGG tune. Does anyone know what tune that would be (and does it really sound like the VdGG tune in question)?

I do recall hearing somewhere that Opeth did name their album after the
group Blackwater Park...

Bubu, an excellent band from Argentina. As far as I know they released rare album on vinyl in the 80's. Now they're just a memory...Cry

In my strolling around the Prog Archives I have found many lost bands. It's been a pleasure discovering them. Just pick a letter from the band index on the main page and then look at the list of bands in that letter. Whatever you don't know, click on it and discover... That is how I discovered here over 150 bands (like those on Anael's list), out of them about 40-50 lost bands and to be discovered bands (i.e., still active but not known to the wide prog audience).

In regadrs to Bubu who was mentioned by Razifa, they released Anabelas in 1984. A great album, here is the link - Anabelas

I think the tune in question is "Killer". The riff is exactly the same and the overall sound is also the same.
