Yeah,I don't like More Phil Me And Cinema Show lacks more direct coda...I think,Aisle of Plenty should be installed there And After the Ordeal...it is invisible track!Sometimes I behold it is crawling between The Battle and Cinema Show...It is so sudden!!!Where it came from? Was it on my CD before or is it kinda temporary virus? It should be somewhere closer to the beginning of the album to be noticed...
And well, that's my version of Selling England :

1.Dancing with the Moonlit Knight 8.04
2.The Battle of Epping Forest 11.44
3.After the Ordeal (instr) 4.13
4.Firth of Fifth 9.38
5.I know what I like(in your wardrobe) 4.09
6.The Cinema Show 12.37

Don't judge me,I'm hopeless Genesis fan... /

I would only trade the pointlessly corny ballad "More Fool Me" for the majestic "Deja-Vu", a Gabriel-penned leftover that was later reworked by Steve Hackett in his "Genesis Revisited" album. I would leave the basic tracklist intact, in its official order.

Why mess with a great album?

Anyway, you seem to have left off Aisle of Plenty in the end.

Stick to the Original song order. However, I do agree in taking off More Fool Me.

I mentioned "Deja-Vu" because it was a half-written song that Gabriel was working on at the time, that is, during the "Selling England" sessions. Its lyrics portray Gabriel's own dream of living city life and moving to the countryland. Had this song been completed and located between the mystical epic "Firth of Fifth" and the playful epic "Epping Forest", it would have been a token of things to come in Gabriel's personal life. Something like an anticipation of the story of Rael in "The Lamb" (which is mostly an anit-urban myth) and the message in "Solsbury Hill", the classic personal manifesto in Gabriel's solo debut.

    Regards.

I think More Fool Me is a weak track, but it is important because it lets you breath between the monstrous epics.

Each song on Selling England gets 5/5 stars if I were to rate it, except for More Fool Me which is barely a 3/5 but I still wouldn't change the album at all.
