computer related question...

I enjoy transferring my CD's to my hard drive to listen to on my computer.  Yet I have two albums... both German. Can's Tago Mago, and Amon Duul II's Tanze Der Lemminge that won't show on on my computer's audio player (Dell's Musicmatch), thus I can't transfer them to my hard drive.  Anyone have this happen, and anything I can do. Warning, my knowledge of computers extends to accidently finding porn on the internet, shopping for albums, and turning the damn thing on and off.

Are they standard CDs or do they have any extras such as videos on them? Try viewing the CDs via Explorer - this should tell you.

standard.

Tanz Der Lemminge is the 2001 Repetoire issue.... I also have the same 2001 Repetoire issues of Yeti and Phallus Dei...along with 2002 Repetoire issues of latter Amon Duul albums,  all  of those work fine on my computer CD player.  Tanz didin't work right out of the box so to speak... it's not scratched.

Same problem with Tago Mago...

however this one is a 2004 remasterHybrid SACD designed to play in sterio on both CD and SACD players....
works fine on all my CD players... except for the computer.

thanks for the help though...

I have had problems with CDs sometimes when they have videos on them as well as standard audio tracks. It may be worth trying some other software.
Can you view the CDs in Explorer?

They aren't this new fangled high definition stuff are they? I can't get my Epica - Consign to Oblivion converted to Sony's SonicStage. I presume this is the case as it is the only HD CD I have.
