I just got The Tangent's new album. It's really awesome. I hope some of you have it too. But on the first track (In Earnest) at 1:19-1:21 there are two strange clicking sounds when he sings "a genlte old man". But it doesn't skip or anything. I don't know if my copy has a little glitch or if all the copies are like that. If anyone that has this can check it and reply to this thread, that would great. Peace.

I do hear something, but it's very faint.

Even though on mine its pretty faint and I still notice it. I wasn't sure if I should exchange it for a new one. But if other people that hear it on theirs...maybe there's nothing I can do. It could be something that happened in mastering or whatever. I was just hoping that my copy wasn't messed up. The album is still growing on me. It's different than their first two but there's definitely some signature stuff. I love Tillison's keyboard lines and the way he plays.

Seems like someone ripped them from a scratched cd without error correction.

I want it , just a bit worried about getting it because Roine Stolt isn`t on it , I`ll get it though on the strength of what people are saying , if I hear any clicks I`ll let you know

I don't think you'll regret getting it. It's a great album and there's still some fine guitar work on it.

Krister Jonzon of Karmakanic does a fine job in place of Stolt. So does Jaime Salazar in place of Zoltan on drums.

Remember,Roine was just a guest on the first 2 Tangent albums,it's Andy Tillison's band.
