First off, good news! The Sunday Times (a big national paper in the UK for those of you who don't know) published an article in its cultural supplement last weekend an article proclaiming that Prog Rock is back! Now often when I read these things these sort of articles talk about an old band getting back together, then giving the obligatory list of prog must own albums.

This article gives me real hope, because it highlights what I've always believed, rock music (in the UK at least) is becoming intellectual again, and it highlighted three bands doing the rounds which it believes are the future of the more mainstream prog revival.

Thhey are, Pure Reason Revolution, The Mystery Jets and Mew. NOne are listed here and I was wondering if anyone had any more info on them, or any thoughts on them?

I have the Mew album "Mew and the Glass Handled Kites" It is very good although it doesn't have the classic sound of progressive rock.
