What are some good groups who use the Indian guitar?  I know of Nosferatu by Popol Vuh and liked it a lot.  Very chill and I know of Yatha Sidhra, I think he used the indian guitar too.  thats all off the top of my head.  anything else would be appreciated.

Try also Yoga from POPOL VUH
Therefore, it's their more traditionnal album

AGITATION FREE's 'Malesch' has got some damn good sitar in it. AMAROK' s 'Quentadharkën' has also some exotic string instruments, though no sitar, but it interesting all the same.

LE ORME's last 3 albums: 'Il Fiume', 'Elementi' and 'L'Infinito', each one has a sitar based track. These are the times where the violin joins inn for good effect: three great songs, actually.

There's a sitar (I wouldn't call it an Indian Guitar - because it's not really) used in Dream Theater - Home from the album Scenes From a Memory.  It's an awesome song, with great vocals and harmonies.  Go check it out.

I don't remember any sitar in Malesh...

You're right, I'm sorry. There's no sitar, but a zither!! This Greek/Turkish instrument is played by Lutz Ulbrich on a couple of tracks. I'm sorry, my huge mistake!!
