Hi,
I'm Nicolas, 26, live near Paris, France. I have discover this website in 2005. I have so downlaoded some MP3s in order to know more bands or artists from the prog style. I really like Cairo (a cd bought in 2002), Pink Floyd (Wall, DArk side, Wish you), Devin townsend (all excepted the last one), Patrick Rondat (amphibia), Symphonyx, Vanden Plas, genesis, radiohead...so I have 15 Cds of prog music. And today, I have bought my first "YES" (Close to the edge) : E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T ! On my list for my futur purchases : YES, GENESIS, PINK FLOYD, Zappa (really like penaches en regalia, packard Goose, Muffin Man and Zoot allures titles) and so on...
I listen to other styles :
rock (Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Beatles, Led Zep..) blues (Mighty Mo' Rodger, Popa Chubby, Eric Claton...) Jazz (Keith Jarret, Woody Hermann, Ben Sidran) Electronic (Air & Daft Punk (french bands), best of House music played by DJ's in France...) Classical (JS Bachs, Mozart, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Carmina Burana...) World (Tanzania, India...) Raggae-ska (Culture, Steel pulse, Gladiators, Skatelites, La ruda salska (french band)...)
So one of my problem is to have the best of all styles of music (except violent music or traditionnal european music ; because that's "stink")
I have just finished my studies (december 2005) (quality, environnement and safety-industrial risks) and looking for a job.
So if you are french (salut les gars !) or if you want to help me to discover the best of prog style, send a MP !
have a question : is it possible to have all albums reviews of the website by decreased order on an lonely page ?

No problem, I am here to know more about prog music and to discover new emotions with. Thank you for your message. "Close to the edge" is a very good album. I have listened today to Pink Floyd, Yes, SymphonyX and Cairo ( a great one).
I seek classical music played by rock or metalband as SymphonyX or Patric Rondat (vivaldi tribute). Here is one guy here that know some bands playing this style ?
Thanks

Merci les gars ! C'est un super site, c'est vrai, dommage qu'il n'y ai pas ce même concept de site pour tous les styles de musique. I have listened to some mp3 of Adagio on the official web site. It is quite difficult to listening to, difficult to "enter" in the music. But thank for your help, it is a tre mix of classical music and metal. DREW : have you listened to the last Devin Townsend (synchestra) and the others ? What you think about it?
