Explosions in the Sky is my personal favorite. Mono and Sigur Ros are close. of course Isis, Pelican and Red Sparowes if you count post-metal. Godspeed You Black Emperor, although I've had periods where Sigur Ros,
Do Make Say Think, and Explosions in the Sky have been my favourites as
well. Bottom line: the genre is amazing!
