Hey those guys who confess to reading Classic Rock seem to have missed the ad in the latest edition for Progeny 2

Sat 20th Nov (from 2.30pm): Amon Duul 2 (original line-up), Jan Akkerman, Ummagumma (guest what, a tribute band), David O'List's The Attack, Ars Nova.

Sun 21st Nov (from 4.30pm): Re-Genesis (doing the whole of Lamb), Jadis, Man, Strangefish

Mon 22nd Nov (from 4pm): Fish, Carl Palmer, Magenta, Audience

Location: London Astoria

And as reminder the Mahavishnu Project will be at the Mean Fiddler on Fri 12th Nov

Almost like old times....................

Thanks for the heads-up on these gigs. I'll be there for all three (if I can afford it)

Yeh, Dick.. I put a thread about this on the Bands on Tour section.  Are you going to any of them... I'm actually gonna be there all 3 nights.

Perhaps we need a system that provides more cross referencing - too many threads essentail duplicating and occasionally triplicating earlier ones.

Alas with family duties and something called work, weekends in London are near impossible (and the Monday gig must be purely for Londoners!!!)- or else I would be scurrying down to rustle through you photogrpah album! Are you flying over specially or is this part of a bigger break in the old country?

Actually I'm flying over to follow Carl Palmer around for a few of his shows... that Monday night at the Astoria... then one in Wales.. and one near Birmingham. Its also Thanksgiving week for us here in the States.. so its a big holiday time.  Since it will be my first one without my son,  I thought I'd spend it with Carl...

Now I undertand the grin on his face (i.e. photo on RHS of your photo montage).
