HAs this been thought of before or suggested? I think it would really improve the forums. I'm sure there are many people out there who have art/music/literature/poems/lyrics/etc etc they might want to show the world. Just sign all art with a signature and any posted music links should have copyrights or be used at the user's own risk. Seriously what do others think of this idea? I've seen it work very very well in other forums before, so perhaps it should be considered.

I think it would be fun.  I recall there was talk about section where people could share mp3's of their own bands, but I'm not sure about this? Now people should use "Get the word out" section, but maybe area suggested by King Volta could encourage people to share their work more?

I think an area open to all user posted/created art/literature/etc would be a very nice addition to the archives. I know for a fact that some people write and draw on this site, and I'd love to experience soem of their work, and hopefully those artists would like some sort of recognition from people they relate to. Plus every artist needs a certain amount of praise and an equal or greater amount of criticism. I've noticed people here on the forum aren't as scared to tell people what they think as others. It could be a friendly place where even others art could be interpereted (like Picasso paintings; Yes lyrics ------------- I'm a reasonable man, get off my case |
, and etc.). I think it would be a very nice addition to the forum, and I'm about to post this somewhere where it will get noticed until it is moved. Hopefully I get the word out.Posted By: Rosescar

This is a excelent idea  , I like to see the work of the people that make draws, art, music, literature and exprese themselves. Im a grapic designer (well, still studing) and its no problem for me to show my work, or my draws or paints to other people, well, its not a problem here so, Im in.-------------
