This morning Rick Van Der Linden (Ekseption/Trace/solo) has died because of a stroke. For a long time he was suffering from diabetus and the last years from increasing complications like less functioning kitneys. We have lost an excellent musician and a very pleasant and vriendly person.

Very sad news. He was a truly amazing musician and an innovative keyboard player. His work with Ekseption and especially Trace will sound forever in my heart. My condolences to his friends and family. Please go to http://members.home.nl/ekseption/ and light a candle for Rick.
