I know that none of you really care for his solo career (even though he is on the site), but I thought it would be nice to tell you all that Adrian Belew has been nominated for the Grammy of Best Rock Instrumental Performance for Beat Box Guitar off of Side One. The announcement is a month old, but so what? The competition isn't that steep, too, so I think he may pull this one off.

What say you?

Exciting news indeed. By the way, do you know who he's up against?

Rush has gotten screwed out of winning that category three times. They don't like to pick the best song.

I that pleases me no end (as does the nomination for Stewart Copeland). Thanks for letting us know.

I don´t know...because on one hand you have Belew nominated fro a Grammy...nice work man! But then I remember what the Grammys are all about and I think poor Belew.

With the Grammys I always have to remember the Simpsons,

Homer says "I have never won anything."

Lisa "thats not true, you won a Grammy award!"

Homer " A Grammy is hardly an award..."

and then a voice in off from Fox says " Fox wnat to say that the network does not agree with mr Simpson, in fact for us the Grammy is meaningless. Thank you"

They'll give it to Les Paul, cause he's 1,000 years old.
