Sidsel Endresen is part of the  norvegian New-Jazz or Electronic-Jazz-Scene together with Bugge Wesseltoft and Nils Petter Molvaer, who play both on the record. I have never been to Norvege, but I always have the impression to feel the Norvegian landscape throughout the records of Norvegian musicians (at leat the ones I know), like Terje Rypdal, Bugge Wesseltoft, Nils Petter Molvaer and Sidsel Endresen. The music evokes for me  snow covered tundras, chilly winds and a beautiful pure light.'Undertow' was recorded in 2000. the record contains  long athmospheric tracks with minimal rhythm tracks or loops, electronic textures or treated instruments (guitar, keys, trumpet & flute) over which Sidsel lays her etheric vocals. A beautiful record, check out 'Undertow' and 'Blessed instant'.

"Hey there! Rotter's Club!
Explain the meaning of this song and share it"
