Still Life. But you don't usually judge the heaviness of an album by it's mellow parts. I find Still Life a great album, but not that heavy - the rhythm guitars ,in particular, frequently sound kinda weedy. |

My Arms Your Hearse is, IMO, the best example of Opeth.
Everything they've done since has been to match that standard and vary
it somewhat.

Erm, okay. Ghost Reveries is a great album no doubt, but in no way is it heavier than Deliverance. |

For me its Orchid because its their most obvious, stereotypical death metal album. From Morningrise they explored there prog, space rock, pyshcedellic influences but put them into the death metal mold. ------------- Prog is music for the mind Hear your Orphaned child!
