I will be jetting out of California for a few days to attend my 25th High School Reunion. I'll be leaving Sacramento tomorrow morning and getting into Detroit in the late afternoon.

I have had contact with one person during the past 25 years and I must admit that I'm a bit anxious to meet all the old class-mates. I only hope the beer is good, maybe a local micro-brew would make things a bit easier. Anyway, I'll miss you all and I hope I won't have anything new to add to the "Most Embarrassing Moments" thread.

Have any of ya'll attended any of these functions? Any good stories or crazy discoveries?

Have fun ya'll.

Never been to one, but then I left home before my senior year.. and actually finished here on my own in NYC.  However, I have found most of my best friends growing up on Classmates.com... so who needs the actual face to face...

To me a good reunion would be everyone who hung out here in NYC at 'Max's Kansas City' the summer of 1974... now that would be a reunion.

I went to two schools in high school..The 1st is where my strong ties would lie but it was the 2nd where I graduated. I have no ties whatsoever there and no friends either. I hated my 2nd high school and wouldn't go to a reunion unless you paid me. Because I didn't graduate at the 1st one i am not invited

Danbo, you have a good job, a lovely wife, and a fashionable scalp- you'll do just fine

I used the excuse that I was too far away...I'll fly back east for a 'white hot', but not a high school reunion. A person has to have priorities!

A member of the hot dog family, pale in color, made from some secret wonderful spicy stuff that I don't want to know any more about. Aren't you from the land of Upton Sinclair's Jungle  ? I'm sure they have some white hots running around the Chicagoland area. Sometimes called "coneys", but don't confuse them with cooked rabbit or Coney Island Hot Dogs (which are also worth travelling for).

Red Hots...Get your Red Hots.....that is the only hot dog I know. I am more of a Bratwurst man myself....Wisconsin has the best I know of. That and cheese of course....and beer....and a bar at every street corner.

I just saw the picture. In Chicago it is blasphemy to put ketchup on your dog. I am not kidding. Personally I like ketchup on my dogs.

I love Nathans Hot Dogs at Coney Island... theres Nathans all over these days, but none like in Coney Island.  And I like ketchup and mustard on my dogs..

Then I like to go ride the Coney Island Cyclone and see if I can hold it all down...
