Mine has to be ... probably Houses of the Holy OR Physical Graffiti...I'll say Physical Graffiti. How the West Was Won is an amazing live album too...

tough choice........I'll go with II

Houses of the Holy is amazing. I can imagine how hard it was for them to follow up an album like IV, reminds me of Pink Floyd following up Wish You Were Here.

Physical Graffiti for me

This Is Too Hard A Choice. This Band Are Unlike Any Other, Almost EVERY One Of Their Records Are Stunning. And They're All Contenders For Some Of The Best Music Ever Written, It Is Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE To Pick The Best, Or Even A Favourite Album By The Group. Led Zeppelin Are Possibly The Best Band To Ever Exist! Anyone Who Disagrees Is Arrogant And Pretentious.

Every Musician Is Vitally Important To The Band. Thats Something Special.

Only A Few Bands Ever Had That Affect On Me. Them, Yes And Beck! But The World Of Prog Basically Took Over My Life Haha

When I Was Younger I Could Only Get A New Album Every Few Months And In That Space Going Through The Zep Catalogue They Were ALL My Favs. Makes It Impossble To Decide How To Answer That Question

ah i'm sorry...sometimes i think the "don't post topics that have already been posted" rule is a bit overdone..i mean new people join almost everyday..and i'm fairly sure that not all of them (or any of them) are going to look through teh records for a topic before they post it. anyways sorry i re-posted ...

There's no way I can pick one... They're my favorite band Not Coda and not In Through The Out Door, for sure.

So, I voted How The West Was Won, because IMO it's better than any individual studio album. The performances are just amazing!

It's somehwhat of a toss up between IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti. I'm going to give it to Houses of the Holy. My favorite Zeppelin song, Achillies Last Stand, is unfortunately on an album less consistent than it's predecessors.

Too hard to pick one.

I voted III though, it's really underrated.

Strange that Houses of the Holy is winning this one, when IV and Graffiti were well clear before. Anyway, I voted for II. I find it hard to decide but I've gone for II as it was one of the first rock albums I ever heard, and is probably the one I've played most over the years.

I like the first, also "the song remains the same" for the progressive "No quarter".
I also love "stairway to heaven" for the mind blowing solo.

After much deliberation, I chose Physical Graffiti. The first 6 Zep albums are all brilliant, but I think that PG would be the one I'd most like to have on a desert island.

Physical Grafitti is one of my all time favourite albums, so its the one I'd choose here. After that its a close call, but probably Led Zep I, or maybe III, or perhaps II ....... I actually (shock! horror!) don't think IV (or ZOSO or whatever its called) is quite as good as these....

There's a curse on my head... When I was a kid, my parents listened to Led Zeppelin all the f***ing time and now I can't listen because I get bored! I know Robert Plant is a good singer, but I just can't stand him! He gets on my nerves every time he opens his mouth! And that Stairway to heaven song ... It's pissing me off from time to time because I know I used to love them when I was about 4 years old!

If I had to choose the album that's my favourite... hmmmm probably Led Zep III!

I voted How the west was won......I think that's absolutely their best performance ever.....and maybe one of the best concert from 70's (and 80's and 90's and so on !!!)

I voted for "II", but "IV" would be a very close runner-up, also "Houses of the Holy" and "Physical Graffiti", but I also have sweet memories linked to "III"..... so you see, it's almost impossible for me to name my favourite LZ-album.
What I can say is that "Coda" is the one I like least.
