England has failed a drugs test(presumedly not enough!) and shall not be taking be taking part in the competition!

If an important nation is not named feel free to mock my limited Prog knowledge!

UK is DEFINATELY the greatest prog nation!

I vote for United States of America, there you can find SHADOW GALLERY; DREAM THEATER; QUENSRYCHE; SYMPHONY X and SAVATAGE and I think that is enough progressive music for any competition!!!!

Definitely England, otherwise I chose Italy from the list.  I love Italian prog.  Also missing France.

Why is the UK banned from the Olympics? Did they use some forbidden medication? Too much tea? Or just because there would be no competition if the UK were around? Because that would probably be true.

Wait, now I see, I should have read the 1st post  . My guess was not so far from the truth then.

There are so many good prog bands(all genres)coming out of Sweden and Norway right now,they win,hands down.

I vote for Italy (since UK is out for drug treatment).

P.S.: considering that Brazil was not listed our national team will not play the next World Cup

I can't choose between Italy, Sweden and Poland. The Netherlands have produced some top class prog too.

Italy for quantity, quality and influence but Sweden being a close silver medal especially because Anglagard and Par Lindh Project.

I didnt put in Englang for obvious reasons! It's a better comp without them! (Also a bit of ex-colonial predjidice, but ah well!)

In that case, my vote goes to Japan... they generally apprechiate good prog  and have bands like Ain Soph... what a geat culture!

Sweden. There are great Swedish bands for almost all subgenre and Sweden's population is far

more smaller, than the population of Italy and Canada, not to mention the US.
