I just wanted to say hello.  Im very new to Prog Music.  I started on the typical Pantera and Slayer and have gravitated towards Symphony X and Balance of Power.  Its a nice change.  There is a whole new world of music to explore!  Its nice to meet everybody.

Hi, welcome to the forums...

This is a very well organised site that should help you discover plenty of new and different styles of prog music... I'm still exploring it myself, and it's pretty fun and exciting to take a look at completely new and radical prog music...

Welcome! So... you're a real metalhead... I once was one too, but if you want to explore the world of progressive rock, you should really check out Jethro Tull and Yes!
