It seems that your community status change as long as you create more posts and threads. At 100 posts, I've passed from groupie to senior member, so i've passed from 2 stars to 3 stars. What is the title for the 4 stars status and at how many posts you get it? (I've seen nobody having 4 stars) . How many posts does it take to get 5 stars: collaborator status?

I am new here as well and i don't believe there is a 4 star status. I think to get a 5 star status you have to post a review on one of the bands in the archives., but I am not totally sure of that

To be a prog collaborator you have to be inducted in a special ceremony that involves being able to name every Gentle Giant album, year of release and in exact chronological order.

If you're a collaborator, and therefore are listed on http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_COLLABORATORS.asp - http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_COLLABORATORS.a sp , you get 5 stars collaborator status.  You also get some other benefits.

Not only do you have to know all that., you have to know their mother's names, their hopes and dreams and whether they believe in UfO's or not

The thing I hated was having to transport that cherry to the wine glass. It wouldn't have been so bad but I had a red stain on both cheeks for days.

BTW, somebody could take revenge starting a poll about the site status: How many stars to Progarchives, how many to Gibraltar, etc etc.

All:

Hey - how do you think I feel?  I'm an admin member, but I still only get five stars, as if I'm just a lowly "collaborator!"

Actually, collaborator status is not nearly as easy to obtain as richardh and gdub suggest...  There are oaths of silence, fealty, and loyalty, the ingestion of questionable, sometimes unidentifiable edibles, and the imbibing of large quantities of liquids that taste even worse than they smell...  And this does not  include being strapped to a chair and being forced to listen to a compilation album of the greatest hits of Barry Manilow, Peter Allen, Neil Sedaka, Neil Diamond and The Carpenters...(OK, the last two had a couple of good songs each, but you get the picture...)

So, if you are prepared to undergo these (and other) rigorous procedures for becoming a "collaborator," send me a PM and I'll "talk to de boss" and see what he says...

Peace.
