Italian Symphonic, because it shouldn't exist.

This bands are just symphonic, why don't we create Swedish Symphonic for Anglagardor Par Lindh among others (Or Scandinavian Prog if you want to add other countries as Finland).

To me sounds despective as if there is a real Symphonic and then behind this bands Italian Symphonic.

For God's sake, Symphonic is Symphonic in UK, USA, Italy, Sweden, Holland, Perú, Japan or China.

Prog Folk, but really most of them are underrated. But isn't underratedness in the eye of the beholder????

OK- if I were to have a defining album form this genre- what should I get?

Prog Metal. Very underrated by the people who think they are prog-snobs but they are prog-ignorants. The distorsion of a guitar doesn't make a genre worst than others.

I agree.  I don't think Italy should get special attention.
But I think Zeuhl is very underrated, at least outside of the prog world because I never hear anything about this genre anywhere besides prog sites.

Oops, twisting my point of view

I believe Italian Symphonic is as good as British, Holland, Sweden or USA Symphonic, probably better than most, but it's Symphonic, so why discriminate it.

Krautrock is the most under rated genre, with so many fantastic bands such as Agitation free, Popol vuh, Deuter, etc...

Prog-folk shall include IMO several folklore trends all over the world and consequently should be better known to bring more people into prog. In fact I think that sometimes prog-folk may merge with world-music but I don't really know where are the boundaries.
