He's very spiritual and make a lot of biblical references. The entire lamb is

He wrote the score for the Last Temptation of Christ. Which is a very
controversial depicture of Jesus with the whole Mary Magdalene scandal. I personally have not seen the movie so correct me if I'm wrong. Nonetheless, this might imply that he is a very liberal christian. You can listen to these songs on his album The Passion. Its a many beautiful pieces. It is mostly instrumental and there are lots of middle eastern elements in it. I strongly recommend it. Especoally to Peter Gabriel fans. |

I only really care about his music. His beliefs are just that; his beliefs, and they are personal to him. The Biblical references in his lyrics dont necessarily prove that he is a Christian of any kind, but point towards his public school background where he was no doubt made to read the Bible, sing hymns and pray almost everyday of the week. Some of it he probably felt quite inspired by. My guess is that he is a fairly liberal Christian, but...so what...? ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |
