You can add albums using an ADD ALBUMS option, but what about an add bands option, if this is too risky, but when a band gets submitted etc etc, instead of directly of a new band being added straightaway, the information goes to the Admin etc, to be looked at first and to be checked etc before being added into the Archives, I beleive it is a quick and easy way to add bands. What do you think? Good Idea or Bad Idea?

Shame, if they brought it back, the Admins will have to check the requested addition (a new band) before it actually arrives on the Archives, this is one way to stop the abuse. ------------- CYMRU AM BYTH

I have used the E-mail submission form to add one band about a week ago but nothing has happened yet, is this normal for the first two or three weeks?. ------------- CYMRU AM BYTH

Yes, unfortunately it is. The webmasters seem to be very busy lately and it takes a very (very) (very) long time for the collaborators to agree on a band. I myself am not part of the aristocrats group that's called the admission team though. And us collab's have lives too you know. |

Actually The Pentangle got added by collab Alucard after he got the approval to do so. They were on a long standing backlog list of bands that are waiting to be added! And yes, the Pentangle are prog especially given the time they were recording. They may not sound very progressive by today's standards , but back then their revolutionary fusion of Folk Jazz and Blues was groundbreaking!! ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |
