 im 52 yrs old and im just getting into prog. music,ive been listening to renaissance since 1972, & genesis too. My favorite prog, bands porcupine trees, spocks beard, shadow gallery,& countless others. Happy to be aboard.....( I still get into heavy metal)...

Welcome Ranger.. Just so you know there is a page for welcoming newbies, and this may get moved there. Anyway, good to have you on board. I'm into Genesis, Rush, Yes, The Enid, Renaissance, Pink Floyd, VDGG, IQ, Hawkwind to name but a few..
BTW, I'm 36. You'll find there is an impressive mix of ages and backgrounds on this site. We even have some teens!! Yes, some teenagers listen to prog!! - this site is proof of that. ------------- Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy! |

Hi Ranger! Nice to meet someone that's older....I'm a mere 45!! As Blacksword says there's a fair mix of ages, sometimes musical preferences give those away.... Personally I'm into Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Mahavishnu Orchestra (not convinced they're prog but they're on this site!), Genesis, ELP, etc...... This site has rekindled my interest in prog and has helped get me into Tool, The Mars Volta, and Porcupine Tree. |
