...I understand you have a traslation problem.. and I can figure out what your trying to say, but this really has no point at all.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

The most DISSAPOINTING band for me is GTR.

I already knew 3 men Genesis turned POP but I expected much more of Hackett and Howe together.

All of them... except Genesis!

Rabin's Yes is perhaps the worst... no, post-Howe Asia ("Astra" ) is worse... but I wonder If not GTR was the biggest disappointment of them all.

Wow...two of my favorite Yes albums you mentioned there.  I like Trevor Rabin quite a bit.  He's got a great voice and his guitar melodies are well thought out.  Granted, I give you the pop nod, but if anything, it's Prog Pop.  If you can't write a good sounding song, what's it worth?

I love to listen to Big Generator with headphones.  I think it was mixed well for stereo.  But these two CDs were over-produced in the 80's style.  I attribute this more to the drum/keyboard sounds than anything.

No feelings hurt at all.  I am not an avid listener of Pop music, other than guilty pleasures such as bands like Tool, Sevendust, and the like.  I realized years ago that if Pop music wasn't good, it wouldn't appeal to the masses like it does.  Listeners of Prog tend to be elitists, and this style of music reflects their personalities and intelligence.  Prog needs to be digested to be appreciated, unlike Pop with you "get" after the first listen.

So if Yes changed their name with Trevor Rabin, would you be more accepting of those CDs?

One band that's not in the poll, but I'm really disappoint with is Magic Pie.
Everyone seems to love their debut album ... I hate it.

I am also a big fan of these two Yes albums, in fact I prefer them to certain others!

For me GTR no doubt ... I found out about the band when I saw the CD for sale at a flea market ... Steve Howe and Steve Hackett! I couldn't believe it ... my favourite prog guitarist (Howe) and the guitarist of my favourite prog band ...

What a disappointment ... Asia I was prepared for, the other two I heard the pop version of Yes and Genesis before the prog version (80s kid) ... but GTR is a heart-breaking killer of fantasies!

Agree 100%, Just having heard Follow You Follow Me, I knew where Genesis was going, Owner of a Lonely Heart video on TV warned me, Asia, well.....most  supergroups don't work, so it was a possibility.

But Hackett and Howe together!!!!!!!! That's a dream come true, sadly the dream turned into a nightmare.
