Which literary genre do you think has had more influence in prog: Science Fiction or Fantasy.

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of some Flute and Voice (Indo-Prog/Raga Rock) albums please PM me! Many thanks!

Well Tolkiens Fantasy has been very influential but it has no relation to "science"

At least from the ones I've heard i think that fantasy has inspired a lot more than science fiction. And the fantasy lyrics are not so cheesy as the scienes fiction ones

Hard to say, they have both been highly influential in progressive compositions

Maybe "fantasy oriented sci-fi?". I think it flourished in the works of HAWKWIND. Also "Olias of Sunhillow" is a some sort of fantasy/sci-fi themealbum. BO HANSSON did his own musical version of "Lord of The Rings", I heard it long time ago, and I just got myself a copy for relistening!
