Hi GM86 and welcome!Big smile

For reasons best known to himself, Anderson has never really done another "Olias..". His other solo albums have tended to be more orthodox solo albums with more basic songs.

The track "Song of seven" from the album of that name stand outs as a more complex piece, as according to others does "Animation" from the album of that name. Apart from that, you've really got to look to Yes or his work with Vangelis for anything prog.

BTW, is it the track "Solid space" you're specifically referring to?

GM86 you are in the presence of greatness with this the finest gifted singer of the rock prog era and he has more than a few peers.Easy Livin almost described his solo stuff to a tee with two exceptions 'Change We Must' from 1994 is  superb in  that it has a couple of oldies in 'State of Independence and 'Hearts' which is from the Rabin era -yikes! but it has the very beautiful 'Chagall Duet' sung with a French soprano Sandrine Piau.It also has 'Hurry Home' from 'City of Angels' which was okay but also has 'Top of the World' which is a very fine song.I love this man's classic Yes work and more rec ently 'Magnification' but I have to confess he greatly irritates with all his Mother Earth love is all around me lyrics. How I wish he would return to his pre 80's lyrics and write a new classic Yes album.Olias of Sunhillow is a truly remarkably crafted album from Jon who was the King of the World at that time.Change has some beautifully structured classical arrangements. It also has lest I forget 'Anyone can light a candle' From Jon and Vangelis's superb 'Page of Life'

Actually Olias is one of my favorite albums.. and I can actually play "The Runner" on the piano... well I use to could...( I don't play very often anymore)

Olias does have a sound that is quite unique from his Yes and other project albums.  Its very soothing and other worldly.

The funniest thing I've ever heard Jon say is in regard to Chris Squire... He said that Chris would joke about him and say that Jon was the only guy he knew who would try to save this planet while living on another....
