Yep there are just some of the music trends from the 70s 80s 90s and 00s...wich do you like the least?

I vote for  Hip-hop as i think this is a kind of music without the focus on the music

Hip-hop. With Nu-Metal and Techno/Dance close behind.

I'm the first person who voted something different than hip hop. I voted for techno / dance, because I find a lot of that music without soul and too repetitive and just plain common ugly.

I'm not a hip hop fan either, but at least the human factor is bigger, and though I never bought a real hip hop album in my life, I can enjoy sometimes watching some hip hop videos on MTV. I think Public Enemy, The Dream Warriors, De La Soul, Eminem and some others made some pretty good music. Not good enough for me to buy it, but I like some rap to a certain extent.

Nu metal, followed by hair metal. The others all have some inventiveness in them somewhere.

It depends on how broad "dance" is being... if it's referring purely to poppy trance stuff, then of course that's mostly true. But there is a lot of absolutely off the wall beat based music out there

I like some bands in just about all of those genres.  Grunge was big when I was very young, so it's sort of what I grew up on.
I still like a lot of bands that are considered nu-metal like Deftones and Sevendust , though I hate the archetypal nu-metal such as Korn and Limp Bizkit.
I dont like trendy punk, but I llike some real punk like the Sex Pistols and Fugazi.
I hate most hair metal, but I like some things that are sort of like it, i.e. DT and other power metal bands.
Funk is always fun, but I dont really listen to it.
I dont like Techno/Dance, really, in the sense of house music, but some downtempo or ambient electronic stuff is really good, such as Boards of Canada or Aphex Twin.  I guess theyre not really for dancing though.
Mainstream hip hop is probably the worst, so I'll go with that.  there are, however, some great hip hop groups, such as DangerDoom and Gorillaz.

Theyre all bad and good in their own ways.

All of the above suck, except for funk.

But I'll do a top 3:

  1. Dance/Techno
  2. Hip Hop
  3. Punk

(Dis)honourable mention: Nu-Metal

I choose hip hop, but I deeply hate reggae - by the way, I do not count hip hop as music, but as (bad) poetry over a drum machine. Reggae, I must recognize, is still music.

I don't think 2 + 2 = 4 is mathematics, either - just some numbers with signs between them.
