Well, I've got to admit Gildenlow is rather good-looking, though he reminds me a bit too much of some AOR singers. My vote would go, for instance, to people like John Wetton (especially with KC, when his hair was naturally dark) or David Gilmour (he was a real dish in "Live at Pompeii"). Alex Lifeson too was quite nice-looking in his younger days.

the fact that no women are responding to this sort of disturbs
me. i guess we could all say that we're comfortable enough with
our sexuality to be able to admit that a guy is good looking, which
most guys can't do. anyways i'll vote for david gilmour

has always struck me.

Best-looking prog artist? Hmmm...as a gay man, I know ALL about good-looking artists. John Petrucci, for one. Yummy! But, in a galaxy far, FAR above him is Alex Lifeson. Even on his WORST day, he could "out-hot" (sic?) all of these others.

Yes, Ferry was my number one favourite when he was with Roxy Music. Then he started going retro and to sound more and more like some English Julio Iglesias, so I gave up on him. Still looks good in a way, but nowhere near that slick, stylishly louche dandy he once was .

My wife (not a prog-fan) likes John Lodge, bass player of Moody Blues, as he appears in an old clip, probably 1967, with them singing "Nights in white satin", saying that he looked like me when she knew me centuries ago.
So my vote goes to... Atkingani, I mean John Lodge.

Ah, it's been a long long time I opened up a Playgirl...not since my late teens in fact, when I turned to the pics inside to practice on my male-nude drawing technique
Well, I don't know about Petrucci -he seems a bit too manly and muscular, actually. Then again, I have only seen a few pics of him so I should investigate the matter a bit more closely In general, though, I prefer men to be more on the "nerdy" side physically; toned arms and a slight waist, yes, but with a very natural look to them. I'm definitely not a fan of the 'six-pack' stomach
I wish I was able to find this absolutely wonderful pic of a young Peter Hammill, which was printed in the Q/Mojo prog issue... He looks veritable angelic in it and looking angelic and kind of ethereal is always a big plus in my discerning eyes, lol.
But hey, let me dig out one of a bare-chested Peter Gabriel, just to keep this thread alive...
