Out of those, Islands, it's one of my favorite KC albums

I voted "Interview" by Gentle Giant

The Ladder is very underated, it contains some very good songs in particular Homeworld and It will be a Good day. The ladder is THE most underated album in prog.

Next I would have to say Islands by KK.

I voted the same. I purchased it out of curiosity and was surprised to find out that Free Hand was not there last prog album.

Wind & Wuthering is a masterpiece, not the best by Genesis, but certainly much better than people say it is, I love it !

Better than Selling England by the Pound if you ask me, but certainly below Foxtrot and Nursery Cryme

from your list Interview and Islands are the most under-rated!

I agree, these are both great albums that deserve more attention.

Islands, of course, my favourite King Crimson album. a wonderful mix between "noise" and introspective sounds. I definitely loved it since I've been in Formentera, the island who inspired it and the place which still has a hippies comunity: I found music and environment perfecly embraced.

I think Interview doesn't demand more than it has...

ELP's self-titled debut , in my opinion, is rather underrated in comparison to Tarkus and especially BSS. I love ELP's first, which contains some of their best-ever tracks, like The Barbarian and Take a Pebble.

I think Islands along with Lizard are the best albums by Crimson. Much better, more original and with better songwriting than RED, the most overrated.

Islands presents the best effort by Crimson as far as composition goes. That "sailorīs tale" is fantastic with great passages and well thought changes of melodies.

Gentle Giant - Interview

King Crimson - Islands is rather overrated, IMO!

ELP's debut for me. However, if you were to switch Trespass with Wind and wuthering, I'd take that. I know it doesn' t contain Hackett or Collins, but there's no reason it shouldn't be rated nearly the same as than the 71-74 albums.

Bravo Eduardo,
I'm agree with you, as it often happens, : Lizard and Islands are quite different, but represent the top in musical research for KC. If I had to summarize I'd say L is more rich from the musical point of view, but I. is very emotional and "stoned"...I can hardly define Red prog, cause of flatness and heavy of its sound
