We are a prog rock/metal band ATYPIC from Bratislava, Slovakia and on 25.02.2025 we are self-releasing our debut album APOTROPAIC.
Our members are all well-known, renowned musicians who have been on the scene in other projects and projects for a long time. We started to compose and play for ATYPIC in summer 2023.

We are the semifinalist of Wacken Metal Battle Slovakia 2024 - we were the only band chosen solely based on a demo recording.
Some local important public rock/metal figures called us The most anticipated metal album of the year.

They described us with these words:
"Clean vocals, straightforward songs and strong choruses complemented by refined guitar riffs, inspiring chapman stick lines, unusual beats and atmospheric jazz arrangements with an ethno touch."
