| Weyes Blood (aka Natalie Mering) seems to be a mistake. American artist, and while Titanic Rising may be described as progressive pop in part, I have not thought of it or heard it called Prog. Although that is my favourite album here, I will go with Thom Yorke's Anima. I';d also sooner describe that as Pop than Prog, but at least he is British. |

At least the surname is very English (and UK generally), and local to your listed location according to the House of Names website so expect English heritage (and I rather like to count heritage as well place of birth and location where now living...) "Early Origins of the Mering family. The surname Mering was first found in Nottinghamshire where they held a family seat as Lords of the Manor." She's from California. |
