The Piper can't be waiting At The Gates Of Dawn forever, so, let's see what happens.

Will Clouds obscure the Piper?
Can Barret be compared with Gilmour, in any way whatsoever?
One vote. Three PF classics in all their six permutations. Choose your row, speak your mind, follow the Piper to Ibiza, and I don't remember where else.

Piper is a masterpiece that smokes the two soundtracks by a long shot. Of the two soundtrack, they both are about half-great. I'll give the slight nod to More for being a tad bit weirder and for not having "Free Four" on it.

If I think of Free Four as a sort of lost Status Quo song played by Floyd, I start to like it quite a bit.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Clouds > Piper > More. Before I enter this timeline, I want some assurance that I'm not going to be a thermometer.

A barometer lets you know when it's gonna rain, fine thing, if you wanna be a thing.

OBC>Piper>More

More interesting (possibly) would have been adding Zabriskie Point into the mix, and maybe dropping Piper.

^^ I discarded Zabriskie for not being a Floyd-only album (though I like it), and MFTB for being a Waters-Geesin thing, rather than a proper PF album. I'm not sure if it was a good call, since Piper is such a strong contender, but, on the other hand, both alternatives seemed too weak. To me, at least.

More ( Main theme is in my top 10 Floyd's tracks) > Clouds (underrated) > Piper

^ I love that track. It makes me think that it may have had some influence on electronic people like Tangerine Dream, or Popol Vuh, maybe even Jarre.
