Rainbow by default (eventually the double live Whitesnake a distant second and Gillan's Budokan third) For the next three (maybe 5), it will be Purple ------------- let's just stay above the moral melee prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

I do have a bit of a soft spot for the Concerto - it was an interesting experiment in fusing rock with the classics (almost a counterpoint to the way the Nice/ELP also experimented in this vein), tho by no means perfect, but Lord would pursue further such fusion experiences on his solo works. ------------- Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused? |

Long Live Rock & Roll was also in the third Deep Purple poll when it should have been the live On Stage album instead, so Long Live Rock & Roll has a second lease of life by default.
