One vote. Another selection by Jim (Finnforest) taking Pink Floyd's final four albums through every permutation. Choose the row you prefer, speak your mind, live your passion.

First option, with the caveat that I have not heard the last album.

And truth be told, The Final Cut would rank top 5 among Pink Floyd albums for me (even though I think it should have been released as a Roger Waters solo album).

I'm not a fan of any of these. I have some respect for Final Cut but much of it doesn't make me want to listen to it. River is kind of nice, I mean, for sure it's nothing great, but it has some flow and atmosphere; it's the one I have listened to most often. Bell is OK to listen to, but other than High Hopes there isn't much that attracts me. Lapse was a huge disappointment and still is.
River > Final Cut > Bell > Lapse
Up to now all but one had River on fourth and nobody had it on top. Let's see whether I remain the only one. But even for me it's just about *** and no more.

I do love TFC, often preferring it to The Wall. Of the Waters-less albums Division Bell is definitely above average IMO, whilst MLR has two great songs - 'Sorrow' and 'Yet Another Movie' - two OK-ish songs - 'One Slip' and 'Learning to Fly' - with the rest sounding like filler. As for Endless River - it is a pleasant enough listen, but apart from the splendid 'Louder than Words' the rest is a bunch of stuff they never quite got round to finishing.

pleasantly surprised... thought I'd be ploughing my own furrow here, but then Ian and Paul were quite close.

I used to loathe Lapse with some passion (a sentiment shared by my wife to the extent that the word "lapse" is still part of our toilet vocabulary), but I've since started enjoying the shamelessly 80s production quite a lot. At the same time I've become very bored with Bell. Nowadays the order is Lapse > River (a nice ambient album) > Bell > Cut.

So far, the rows with Division Bell in 1st place are getting 11 votes, more than any of the others "row leaders". Also, the two individual rows with more votes have Bell in 2nd. And no row with Bell in last place has been voted until now.
Pretty good performance!

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

The Division Bell is one of my favorite Floyd albums... the other three I like about the same, though for different reasons.
