Prologue is awesome. Annie Haslam's debut for Renaissance is refreshing and different. Love her wordless vocals here. People who only heard their most well known trio of albums, would never have thought it, but Annie could probably have been a great Jazz-singer.

Illusion was a decent enough debut roe Renaissance mark II - but my vote goes to Annie.

Her solo work gets unjustifiable overlooked. and after several forum discussions over the years I still firmly believe her solo body of work should be included in the database and filed under Prog Related.

Present her case to the admins and they'll decide if she'll be cleared or not. Smile

Annie Haslam has already been rejected for inclusion in PA's hallowed halls at least twice since I've been here. Ouch

Have to go with Renaissance's Prologue. That Mickey Simmons album is a nice listen too. I'm trying to prevent a dododox, but this is too many ping-pong balls!

I have only heard Prologue in full but I like it and will give it a vote since I know from experience that Paul does not expect us to know multiple albums in order to vote. I am the same with album and band polls generally as well as with long track lists usually. I do appreciate people who take the time to be a little detailed in response on what they know and don't know and have never got into the silent voting thing at PA -- maybe because some lack English. Or feel they have little of substance to say... That doesn't stop me, but I think it should stop me more. Maybe next time. I served raw sausages to my son this morning by mistake. Getting so flighty, easily distracted, absent-minded, mind all over the place. Lack focus. A reason why I post at PA is to try to improve my focus. Not succeeding.
