I've long had a feeling for Japan, I love lots of anime, Japanese music, and living there I do consider to have been the best time of my life. Kyoto is such a wonderful place. Love the temples, love the food, love the people I would meet. This topic is about your (and my) favourite albums from Japan. ^ Hiromi is so talented. ^^^ Oh, I love Stom'u Yamash'ta's Floating Music. That should have been on my list. ^^^^ I'd heard of Siitz, first time hearing that though, I think. I made a playlist of one track per album for my choices (in some cases full albums and I might have deleted one from the playlist by mistake). ^ I agree, David. Loved seeing your list, love every album from it and it made me remember that favourite that I forgot all about including. Cheers. By the way, this is the track from my choices that I have brought up many more times than I have remaining brain cells. Maybe 35 times over the years. It is one of the bands that I have been proudest to bring to this site's attention. Geinoh Yamashirogumi's "Osorezan". It's very funky, has very Japanese elements, and as Barbarella says, "A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming." I adore it. It's one of my favourite "epics". By the way, I have really enjoyed these around the world lists.
