Hey y'all I'm having trouble getting ears on my new album, for fans of The Number Twelve Looks Like You, The Fall Of Troy, Car Bomb, Dillinger Escape Plan and the like. I'm super inspired by early BTBAM as well. I've been leaning more into prog territory lately as my confidence increases. This is a solo project, I play the bass, guitars, do the vocals, and program the drums. I also did all the mixing and such. I hope you like it!

***EDIT***
Band name: Ufoufoufo
Genre: Chaotic Prog

Biography: Ufoufoufo is a solo project creating an offbeat blend of math-rock, chaotic hardcore, and progressive metal. Ufoufoufo has been described as "The Fall Of Troy if it had Car Bomb's rhythms", and is notable for its violently hopeful lyrical themes pertaining to environmentalism, boundaries, and self-love. The artist behind Ufoufoufo, Aero, started the project in 2017 with a 5-song EP about fascism and the revolution cycle. Aero records everything from their bedroom, guitars, vocals, and bass, putting to use a two-year official education in Sound Recording & Engineering at the Los Angeles College Of Music. While the project often experiments with other genres, even venturing far into punk and lo-fi hip hop on two EPs, the primary motif of Ufoufoufo's music is elaborate song structures more akin to a 'journey' than a 'song', non-stop rhythmic puzzles begging the listener to breakdown what hypnotic pattern is being laid out before them, dynamic and punctual vocals with intense-yet-positive lyrics, and a harmonic exploration more akin to math-rock than metal, oftentimes. With Ufoufoufo, though the only thing a listener can expect is the unexpected, there is a clear personality and sound that cannot be found anywhere else than in this project.

Not the kind of music I tend to listen to, but I added you to  https://awesomeprog.com/artists/24917" rel="nofollow - Awesome Prog , which is the site most of our evaluation teams use to track their evaluations. After I added all the supported links I could find (Amazon, Spotify, Bandcamp, and RYM) the tags that came up on Awesome Prog were Chaotic Prog, Math, and Metal/Hardcore.

However, see  https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=122381" rel="nofollow - this guide  for making suggestions which is pinned at the top of this section of the forum. We will need a proper biography from you plus a photo that we can use on your eventual page, should you be accepted, before someone from the Prog Metal team will be able take the suggestion forward.

Thank you, I edited my post to fit the criteria. If there's anything else you need me to add, just let me know

Thanks for the biography. I can't see a link to a photo in your updated post, so I dug this one out off your Facebook to fully satisfy the criteria and hopefully get you evaluated.

If you have a link to a better one, then please include it in this thread.

The sub genres on PA don't follow those on Awesome Prog, so any metal releases we receive are evaluated for inclusion as either Prog Metal, Experimental/Post Metal or Tech/Extreme Prog Metal. I expect your music would fall under the latter category, but I'm no authority on this kind of material.

Edit: An evaluation by the Prog Metal team is now under way.

Here's a preferred image if that works for you. Thank you!

Thanks. It appears to be just a screenshot, so isn't the in the sharpest quality, but it'll probably look OK when it's been shrunk on to the page.

That's a resized & resampled version (the original is 2556 x 1384px).

Given your inspirations from bands like The Number Twelve Looks Like You, The Fall of Troy, and BTBAM, it's clear you're pushing boundaries with your music. Your work on Bandcamp and Spotify should give listeners a great sample of the complex structures and unique style you've developed. Keep sharing your work, and don't hesitate to reach out to communities like Reddit’s Prog Metal or Math Rock subreddits for more exposure and feedback! Your passion and technical background shine through. As a Sociology student, writing papers that reflect both theory and practice can be time-consuming. I decided to try https://academized.com/write-my-paper" rel="nofollow - https://academized.com/write-my-paper and it was an excellent choice. The paper was well-researched, original, and tailored to my instructions. The writer ensured all my requirements were met and delivered the work promptly. It saved me a lot of effort, and I’m impressed with the quality of their service!

I see it's being evaluated by metal, but maybe this noisy stuff would be suitable for Math or even Avant. So if metalists aren't convinced, it may end in a MOVE.

Love Car Bomb has something Zappaesque. Ususally noisy stuff is not my preferred genre but I quite like it.

I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Two YES votes for metal so far. For me it's a pretty clear cut proggy metalcore freak show.
