Nothing to do with Hollywood gunslingers, but a Top 7 poll to determine PA members' seven greatest guitar heroes of all time. Simply list your Top 7 guitar heroes in order of preference below and then I'll assign the usual system of points to your listings:-

1st guitar hero - 12 points

3rd guitar hero - 6 points
4th guitar hero - 4 points
5th guitar hero - 3 points
6th guitar hero - 2 points
7th guitar hero - 1 point

Here's my Top 7 to get the poll underway:-

1. Jimi Hendrix  (12 points)
2. Eric Clapton  (8 points)
3. Carlos Santana  (6 points)
4. Ritchie Blackmore  (4 points)
5. David Gilmour  (3 points)

Gary was a beast! Had Paul requested 'The Titanic Ten' rather than 'The Magnificent Seven,' Gary would be in my list. I love his work with both Colosseum II and Lizzy.

Check out his first two solo albums Back on the Streets and Corridors of Power. Vicious!
