Sorry, never heard of them. Are you sure you're not sending me off on a Wild Turkey chase? Tongue

Glen Cornick was the bass player on This Was, Stand Up, and Benefit. He formed Wild Turkey after leaving Jethro Tull. Smile

Okay, Wild Turkey's Battle Hymn has just been added. It's a great album and arguably the best album in the poll. Thumbs Up

Nice voted for them. I enjoy Ahead Rings Out and This Was about equally - both solid 7/10's to me.

Wow! Three votes already for Blodwyn Pig. That's pretty good going for such a late entry to the poll. Thumbs Up

I went with Blodwyn Pig's Ahead Rings Out over Wild Turkey's Battle Hymn and Jethro Tull's This Was. The only other album I have heard here in full that I can recall is Eddie Jobson's Zinc. I like the incorporation of electronica in that album, but the AOR qualities taint my enjoyment of it.

It's good to see another vote for Blodwyn Pig, having just listened to Ahead Rings Out for the first time today. Pig

Blodwyn Pig Ahead Rings Out I believe has similarities to This Was in sound and style. I have to be in a nostalgic British Blues Rock mood to appreciate it...yet some sections of the album sound like Progressive Rock or rather what people defined then as Art Rock. It's definitely a worthwhile listen.

Voting for the sole album I have heard from this list - Tull.
