Not familiar enough with either band to express a clear preference. Of what I've heard I tend to go with Moon Safari, but neither would be really high on my lists anyway. ------------- The razamataz is a pain in the bum |

I'm in the both group too. I've not listened to Magic Pie much in awhile, but I just finished a whirl through the Moon Safari discography fairly recently. Nothing earth shattering from a break new group standpoint, but highly enjoyable music in a mostly positive and uplifting manner. -------------

That's not an option. A band can use a million mellotrons on their records but that by itself won't make them prog.

I like them both a lot. The first two Magic Pie albums are stellar, and Blomlijud is the happiest album ever made.
