All three Steves are nice Steves, but I like Steve a little bit more than the other two Steves. My brain is ready for the long haul over the pancakes.

A favourite Steve is a poll I've seen done a few times before (not that there's anything wrong with that), and I vote for Steve Hillage again. Arazachel, Gong's radio Gnome Invisible trilogy, Khan, L and Fish Rising..., it's an easy choice.
For another Steve, although not a Steve H. like all the choices in the poll, Col. Steve Austin from the Six Million Dollar Man. I especially liked his collaboration with Bionic Bigfoot.

Hackett of course. Howe and Hillage are close, but certainly below.

From the list Hillage. Shout out to Steve Morse.

All three, but I gave Howe a sympathy vote. I like them for a variety of reasons, but I do think Hillage would be the most fun to party with.

Too much Hillage -- I can't Hackett, but I do know Howe.

All three Steve H's are top echelon of guitar playing. I wish they had founded a supergroup together. :_: Like, GTR, except prog and, more importantly, good.

Yes, this has been done https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=114975" rel="nofollow - before (recently revived) and https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=114110" rel="nofollow - before and even before https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=91662" rel="nofollow - before and before and after in different variations. Still cannot and will not choose one over the other because they all have contributed greatly to prog rock... and I like them all three.

Despite I love the style of Howe, I clearly prefer Hackett as a much more complete musician..

Hogarth is another Steve H.
In terms of solo works my choice is Hillage. As band member is Howe.

Hackett for his music, level of creativity, musical leadership, and positive attitude. A winner on many fronts.

Don't overlook Steve Rothery, Steve Morse, Steve Wilson, or Steve Vai. I voted for Hackett.
