Hi,

all around, really good taste in his selection of materials to use and then play them ... some of them are really beautiful, and it speaks for how the man must have enjoyed helping others make their material even better.

RIP indeed, and may the music continue to live ... wonderful stuff.

Sad news, RIP John.  His work on "Hero and Heroine" and "Ghosts" fit so well with the Strawbs of that period.  In some ways he actually defined their sound, never more beautifully than in the one minute "Remembering" that was a prelude to "You and I when we were young".
