In 2020, talented multiinstrumentalist Tony Imbierski from New Forest, Hampshire, launched Armoury Way as a solo endeavour. He grew up in the 1970s, listening to bands like Camel, Genesis, Yes, and King Crimson, and he formed a band with his closest friends already when he was just 16 years old, but it wasn't until 2018 that he had the notion to make a full-length symphonic prog album. As of right now, Armoury Way is a quintet. As a keyboardist and a bass player, Mr. Imbierski had the good fortune to meet in person two outstanding guitarists: Nick Hollings and Dave Westwood, while the latter plays a flute as well. Tony McKenna shines on his drum kit and percussion. Ashley Stone, the singer, is recognised for her exquisite, quintessential English vocals. "The Ram," Armoury Way's debut album, was expertly recorded at Wokingham, Berkshire's No Machine Studios, and released in May 2024.

Quite enjoyed the 'Clifton Bridge' track. Reminded me of 'Nursery Cryme' era Genesis, both in the sound and the lyrical references to the Past.
Know the bridge as used to stay with relatives in Bristol.
