We at the lostwave community are looking for the original song of this 30 second clip ''just a game'' possibly of german or hungarian origin from the 80s or 90s.

I seem to remember it from an 80s film... "Game over" or something like that.  A kid plays video games and goes to space in a phone booth, or some dumb thing.  It's a long shot but maybe?

Thank you so much for your response. I tried looking but didn't find much yet. Could you provide more details

-Where were you when you watched the movie? was it on VCR or theater?

-Can you give more details about the movie? Anything you can remember could help identify it

Thank you

This had me reading up on 1980's movies with a similar plot. I'm sure the lostwave community has thought of - and dismissed this suggestion long ago. But the storyline of The Last Starfighter (which I've only read about online but never seen) from 1984 sort of matches "Game Over":

...High schooler Alex Rogan conquers the Starfighter video game, only to find out it was just a test, and is transported to another planet. He has been recruited to join a team of the best starfighters to defend their world from the attack...

...I don't think this can be an American song from 1984, though.
