I wouldn't expect a lot of math. The concept behind the title is that, being five, they sound as one. I'm reasonably optimistic, anyway |

^ A new Justin Bieber would beat that track. Or at least I had wanted that say that, but I just listened to "The Piper's Call" and liked it considerably more than I had expected. The Deep Purple track is pretty good (in a Spinal Tap way, but I love Spinal Tap), but is too safe and generic to these ears, and while Gilmour's has safe qualities (and generic), it resonates more with me. I was pleasantly surprised as I had heard such bad things about it -- could be a case of lower expectations in part. To each their own, of course. Neither seem bad to me.

^ I really don't like the new DG track based on my first listen impression - DG is not for me (and I even liked Momentary Lapse of Reason). But neither really rocks ... sadly. Leave it to the new generation (who aren't exactly spring chickens either) ... |
