Number 15 of the "not in PA" series where I do not cover more than one song from an album throughout the series and I use five year increments as one song per five years (1960 to 1964, 1965 to 1969 etc.) Please vote for three if you can or are are comfortable doing so, or for more or less, and feel free to vote with limited knowledge. Again I made a playlist, but that is mostly fro my entertainment TBH (very happy when people have found music to like from them, of course). Most will not know most of these, but some of these tracks are off significant classic albums (the Eric Dolphy, Pretty Things, as well as the later Depeche Mode, and PJ Harvey's is a modern classic...).

Eric Dolphy "Something Sweet, Something Tender" (Out to Lunch, 1964)
The Pretty Things "Death" (S.F. Sorrow, 1968)
Don Harper "Dr. Who Theme" (Homo Electronicus, 1974)
Wire "I Should Have Known Better" (154, 1979)
Tuxedomoon "Holiday for Plywood" (Desire, 1980)
Depeche Mode "Stjarna" (Music for the Masses, 1987)
Stereolab "Crest" (Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements, 1993)
Komeda "Top Star" (The Genius of Komeda, 1996)
Broadcast "Winter Now" (Haha Sound, 2003)
St. Vincent "The Apocalypse Song" (Marry Me, 2007)
PJ Harvey "The Glorious Land" (Let England Shake, 2011)
Beach House "Elegy to the Void" (Thank Your Lucky Stars, 2015)
Dear Laika "Pluperfect Mind" (Pluperfect Mind, 2021)

Here is the playlist:

Here is a topic with the past poll choices from both the in PA and out of PA polls (plenty to be either interested in or apathetic about, or some combination of both). https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=132552" rel="nofollow - https://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=132552

I commonly favour the more contemporary of these lists of my favourites often because they are newer/ fresher to me.

I'll go with:
- St. Vincent "The Apocalypse Song" (Marry Me, 2007) (I would still marry her if the offer is still on)
- PJ Harvey "The Glorious Land" (Let England Shake, 2011)
- Beach House "Elegy to the Void" (Thank Your Lucky Stars, 2015)

^ Very nice choices, Trevor. I felt like giving a fourth vote to DM's "Starnja", but I am going to give one to Wire's "I Should Have Known Better". Gotta say, despite coming in at 15 of these, this is one of my favourite playlists I put together.
